According to Campagnolo, the C-Link isn't reuseable once closed and opened again. Why? And if it is a throwaway item, why does this little bit of metal cost about 15 Euro? A third of the price of a new chain? I would like to take the chain off for cleaning (re-waxing) once in a while, but at this price point, it's kinda prohibitiv!

After three years of owning Ekar I'm pretty sure I've spent more time adjusting that read derailleur than I did actually ride the bike.

If the racing scene is F1racing would be better

Problem: If you leave the cage locked backwards when reinstalling the wheel over the cassette the stop that interfaces with the derailleur hanger can be sheared off. I've had it happen twice now. SRAM used to lock their cage forward for rear wheel removal so you could manipulate the body by hand over the cassette. Campy has to be different and their engineers aren't equipped to design around patents. They'd be better off to license certain things. Did I mention my right shifter also failed after six months of use? Campy quality has gone way downhill, my advice is to avoid this groupset.

I have 5 Campy titanium bikes I know nothing about mechanics. I live 50 miles from nowhere. Now one of my cranksets is loose. I have no clue how to tighten it.

Gorgeous. Wish I had disk brakes on my bike so I can get something like this. Guess I'll keep riding my old Shamal Ultras - they ARE the same color as my Ti bike - and I love 'em :)
